Since 2012 Anja Michael is responsible for global HR Management at Avira, focusing on people-, leadership- and organisational development, international recruiting and employee retention. She has been leading global HR functions in high tech companies for 15+ years. Prior she held different management positions, i.e. in M&A. She is co-lead of the group „Strategic HRM & Big Data“ of the association of HR Managers (BPM) and speaker on events on modern HR topics.

In addition to her MA of university in Bonn she is certified coach and holds the honorary post of vice chairwoman of the association of individual psychological coaches (BIB e.V.)
