The modern intranet can no longer be just a news delivery channel — it must become a strategic hub for communication, knowledge, and employee experience. In this session, we’ll explore how to align intranet strategy with organizational workflows, enhance knowledge accessibility with AI, and design a platform that adapts to diverse audiences. In this session, you will learn:
Strategic communicator. Creative trainer. Culture-builder.
As Director of Tech Strategy & Services Awareness & Training at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, I lead initiatives that turn complex cybersecurity threats into stories that stick, messages that matter, and actions that protect. I design and deliver training programs, internal campaigns, and behavior- based strategies that empower our people at every level.
I created The InfoSec Defenders—a comic strip series that blends policy, humor, and real-world threats—which earned both a 2024 MarCom Gold Award and a 2025 dotCOMM Gold Award for digital communications and cybersecurity education. I believe training and awareness should be engaging, inclusive, and impossible to ignore.
My work lives at the intersection of creativity, risk, and resilience — where awareness and training aren't just part of the response, but part of the defense.
